Man and Van - Half And Full Day Hires
Fixed fee jobs are typically for long distance. We do a significant amount of these distance jobs for companies and individuals who require a longer distance removals service.
These jobs often fall into the category of fixed fee work. Please see the fees below for these types of hire.
For journeys out of the town/region we also charge for the return journey at the hourly rate, plus a charge for fuel.
Start Stop fee charge
We have a minimum hire time of two hours for our jobs but the time only starts when we arrive at the job and finishes when the last item is unloaded. After the first two hours we charge in 20 minute/30 minute increments or in full hours.
Packing Service
We also offer a packing service, these vary in price and are dependent on how much and what type of stuff needs packing. Please call for a free quote.
(Sundays and Bank Holidays are charged at £10 per hour extra per man hired).
No Hidden Costs
Many man and van company's pricing systems are riddled with hidden charges, saturdsay/evening work and other additional fees for offices or homes on higher floors. There are no hidden extras on top of the costs below. Simple hourly costs for man and van work, fixed fee work for half or full day removal work. We only charge for our time.
Cancellations made less than 5 days before the move date are subject to a 2 hour minimum charge. This is because we will have turned down many bookings once you are booked in, and we will most probably be unable to fill the vacated slot at such short notice. We rarely take deposits, and so we work on a trust basis.

One man and a van (£55p hr) - Half a day hire (4hrs) - £220 + £55 = £275
One man and van (£55p hr) - Full day Hire (8 hrs) - £440 + £55 = £495
Two men and a van (£75p hr) - Half a day hire (4 hrs) - £300 + £75 = £375
Two men and a van (£75p hr) - Full day hire (8 hrs) - £600 + £75 = £675
Three men and a van (£95p hr) - Half a day hire (4 hrs) - £380 + £95 = £475
Three men and a van (£95p hr) - Full day hire (8 hrs) - £760 + £95 = £855
Each additional hour over the minumum charge is charged at the relevant hourly rate.
Other options for larger loads that need to be loaded more quickly and/or await funds and/or completions, and key releases etc...
Two Vans and three men (£130 p/hr) minimum 6 hour charge (£780) plus £130 per each additional hour.
Two Vans and four men (£150 p/hr) minimum 6 hour charge (£900) plus £150 per each additional hour.

House and Office Furniture Clearance
We also provide House and Office Furniture & Rubbish Clearances. We are waste carrier licensed with the Environmental Agency. Please ask to see our certificate. Please ask to see certificates whenever you use any company to clear your waste.
With an accurate description of the items that you would like disposed of ethically and in an environmentally friendly manor, we will be able to quote you for the total job cost.
We are classed as a commercial company which means that your waste must only be disposed of at private refuse sites. These sites unlike common domestic household sites are not free to use unfortunately.
Our quote will be a combination of this disposal charge plus our time for completing the collection and disposal.
